Want to find out if an applicant can perform the physical job tasks before they are hired? A post-offer exam is a one hour physical test to determine if the applicant can perform the essential job tasks in which they are being hired for. If an applicant cannot meet the essential requirements for the job, the employer may not hire the applicant. The exam involves a lift test, endurance component, flexibility, and functional activities such as ladder climbing, crawling, squatting, pushing/pulling, that may be essential on a particular job.
